Pharmacology for M-II Medical Students
| On this site I have provided material
that will help you review and re-enforce the ideas
covered in your lectures. The 'Board exam' link' has examination type questions/papers from previous years (not M-II) covering pharmacology of the ANS and NMJ. They are provided for your convenience to prepare for upcoming tests and are of the type and difficulty that you could get in the MII autonomic pharmacology exam. When you select an answer you will be informed if it is a correct or incorrect choice and why. The Lecture slide link contains the Powerpoint presentations by the faculty for this course to view online or download and print as PDF files. The Exam 2 and 3 links are taken from a Nursing course that I also teach autonomic pharmacology but not NMJ. You would probably find that Exams 2 (autonomics) the more useful section. The Nursing autonomic questions are easier than your questions (you will not get true/false type questions), but their NMJ questions are harder. In these exams when you select an answer you will informed if it is correct or incorrect only. The Cardiovascular link will allow you to hear a audio explanation of the various cardiovascular responses that you might encounter. The FAQ links contain questions submitted to faculty for current and past years. Answers are provided but names omitted to protect the innocent. The download link contains PDF files of the summary sheets and Usmle Step1 practice exams from 1998 and 3003. |
